Taking some time to share food…

To try out Christy’s adaptation of miso noodles -

2 tablespoons white miso paste

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon nutritional yeast

1 tablespoon sesame seeds

1 tablespoon chili onion crisp (Trader Joe’s) OR 1 teaspoon minced garlic and chili flakes to taste

1/2 lemon, juiced

1. Put a pot of water on to boil; be sure to salt the water!

2. Combine above ingredients in a saute pan large enough to hold the sauce and eventually the pasta. Heat over medium heat until bubbling and thick.

3. Once the water is boiling, drop in pasta. Cook at 2 minutes prior to aldente BUT don't drain the pasta water!!

4. Add cooked pasta to the saute pan with the sauce, still over medium heat, along with 1/2 cup to 1 full cup pasta water. Swirl pasta in sauce vigorously until pasta water has evaporated and sauce is thicked and shiny, clinging to the pasta, about two minutes.

5. Serve with a sliced avocado on top with a drizzle of sesame oil and sprinkle of sesame seeds.
PERFECTION. WE LOVE THIS DISH.
